Aesthetic dentistry

Aesthetic work begins with digital smile design and ends in a material that behaves like natural enamel. Ceramic veneers are milled with CAD/CAM technology and need minimal preparation, composite restoration rebuilds shape in one or two visits, and ZOOM 4 whitening lifts the enamel by up to eight shades.

Ceramic veneers

Ceramic veneers made with CAD/CAM technology.

A ceramic veneer is a thin shell that covers the front surface of the tooth and corrects its shape, colour and proportion. We produce them with CAD/CAM technology — from a digital impression straight to milling — so you see the result before the work begins.

What it covers

  • Minimal preparation of the tooth
  • Ceramic reproduces the optical behaviour of natural enamel
  • Corrects distorted shape, staining and minor damage
  • Durable — holds its colour and function for years
  • You approve the result in digital modelling before any work starts

Whitening ZOOM 4

Teeth whitening and cleaning with the ZOOM 4 method.

ZOOM 4 (Philips ZOOM! WhiteSpeed) is currently one of the most advanced and safest ways to lighten enamel: under light, the gel releases active oxygen that penetrates deep into the tooth structure and breaks down even set-in pigmentation, including staining from age or smoking.

What it covers

  • Up to eight shades or more in a single 45-minute session
  • Suitable for sensitive enamel — the gel does not cause demineralisation
  • Results last up to four years, and longer if you follow the aftercare
  • The gel contains amorphous calcium phosphate, which strengthens the enamel
  • Preparation stage: treating any decay, professional hygiene and enamel strengthening

Dental restoration

Restoration is the art of rebuilding the shape and function of a tooth.

Aesthetic restoration rebuilds the shape, structure and natural shine of a tooth using composite materials. It is used to correct shape, change colour, repair a chip and finish the treatment of decay.

What it covers

  • Single-stage restoration — shape and function in one visit
  • Two-stage restoration modelled in wax first, for more complex cases
  • Professional hygiene beforehand to establish the natural enamel shade
  • Contouring and polishing — the restoration is indistinguishable from its neighbours
  • Where damage is extensive, an inlay or crown is considered instead
