Surgery and implantation

The surgical side covers painless extraction with piezosurgery, removal of wisdom and retained teeth, bone grafting and PRP plasma therapy. For implants we work with surgical guides and with the Straumann, DENTIUM and Bredent SKY systems — from a single tooth to All-on-4 and All-on-6 restorations.

Our experienced surgical team is ready to make your goal a reality.

We turn to surgery only once every option for saving the tooth has been exhausted — and then with methods that disturb the surrounding tissue as little as possible. Every stage is explained in advance and the procedure is carried out under effective anaesthetic.

  • Tooth extraction, including piezosurgery (ultrasonic) — less bleeding and faster healing
  • Removal of wisdom and retained teeth with precise advance planning
  • Bone grafting (osteoplasty) to prepare the site for an implant
  • PRP plasma therapy using the patient's own blood to speed up regeneration

Surgery and immediate implantation

Implantation at Total Charm Dent using an innovative protocol.

An implant is an artificial root placed where the tooth was lost. We work with surgical guides, which give maximum accuracy in positioning the implant, and where the clinical picture allows it the implant goes in at the same appointment as the extraction.

  • Straumann (Switzerland), DENTIUM (Korea) and Bredent SKY (Germany) systems
  • All-on-4, All-on-6 and All-on-8 for complete tooth loss (edentulism)
  • Immediate implantation at the time of extraction, where the case allows
  • Surgical guides and 3D planning for accurate placement
  • Chewing function and aesthetics restored without a removable denture
